A Palestinian fisherman was injured and two others were detained today because of the Israeli occupation naval forces’ attack on fishermen off the coast of the besieged Gaza Strip.
Wafa Agency reported that the occupation navy opened machine gun fire at the fishermen’ boats off the coast of Rafah south of Gaza Strip wounding one of them with bullets. They also pursued a boat, detained two fishermen and seized their boat.
Yesterday, the Israeli occupation navy assaulted the fishermen off the coast of the Gaza Strip and forced them to return to the shore.
In another development, the Israeli occupation forces demolished today the tents of Al-Araqib village in the Negev region of the occupied Palestinian territories on 1948 for the 221st time since their first demolition in July 2010.
Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces stormed into the village with a number of bulldozers and demolished Palestinians’ tents for the tenth time since the beginning of this year.
The people of Al Araqib re-erect their tents every time, confirming their adherence to their land and their determination to confront the occupation plans to forcibly displace them.
