Palestinian factions should end state of division, agree on a united vision to protect the Palestinian cause
DAMASCUS, (ST)- The Damascus-based Alliance of Palestinian Factions (APF) held a political symposium on Saturday with the participation of Secretary General of the Palestinian Popular Struggle Front Khaled Abdul Majeed marking the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People and the 32nd anniversary of the outbreak of the Palestinian Intifada.
In a speech, Abdul Majeed stressed the need to mobilize the Palestinian people’s potentials in order to launch a popular intifada and to strengthen ties with the axis of resistance.
He urged all the Palestinian factions to end the state of division and agree on a political program and a united strategic vision that renews the process of national struggle and protects the Palestinian cause from future threats.
Abdul Majeed called for opening the way before the Palestinian people to renew their national options to confront the Zionist-American schemes. He affirmed the need to halt normalization with the Israeli enemy and to abandon all illusions about settlement with the Zionist entity, because such illusions provide a cover for the enemy’s crimes and encourage it to continue implementing its settlement activities.
The Palestinian politician hailed the firm stances of the people of the occupied Syrian Golan which reject the Zionist decision to annex Golan and stress that Golan is an integral part of Syria.
