Palestinian Documentation Center: Two Palestinians were killed, and 380 others were injured and arrested as a result of the Israeli occupation’s violations last month

The Studies and Documentation Center of the Department of Labor and Planning of the Palestine Liberation Organization has said that the Israeli occupation authorities continued to escalate their violations against the Palestinian people last September, which resulted in the death of two Palestinians, the injury of 60 and the arrest of 320 others.

According to WAFA News Agency, the center stated in its report issued on October 4 on the most prominent Israeli violations that Dawood Talaat Al-Khatib, a 45 years old resident from Bethlehem, died as a result of deliberate medical negligence in the Israeli occupation detention centers, while Nidal Muhammad Akram Jabareen, a 54 years old resident from Jenin, was shot dead by the occupation forces.

 

The report said that the Israeli occupation authorities have detained 67 bodies belonging to martyrs, in blatant violation of international humanitarian law.

The report indicated that 60 Palestinians were injured as a result of the attacks of the occupation forces when they stormed Palestinian towns and villages, in addition to the arrest of about 320 Palestinians from the West Bank, occupied Jerusalem and the besieged Gaza Strip, including 160 children and 39 women.

The report pointed out that the occupation authorities announced the establishment of 1540 new settlement units south of Bethlehem and seized 3807 dunums in the center of Hebron, and the two ancient castles, Deir Samaan and Deir Qala, northwest of Kafr al-Dik town and east of Deir Ballut in the city of Salfit, as well as demolishing 33 houses and 51 agricultural and commercial establishments.

The report indicated that Israeli settlers carried out 63 attacks against Palestinians and their property, wounding 14 Palestinians, including three children and a pregnant woman, in addition to uprooting and burning 545 fruit trees and damaging about 20 car tires.

The report said that the occupation air forces launched a series of raids and the Israeli occupation forces raided the Palestinian lands, fired their machine guns about 80 times and arrested 23 Palestinians on the eastern the besieged Gaza Strip.
