Palestinian detainees announce a hunger strike tomorrow

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Tomorrow, the Supreme Emergency Committee of the Palestinian captive movement announced a hunger strike for one day only, to pressure the Israeli occupation to release the cancer-stricken prisoner Walid Daqqa and end the isolation of all detainees.

The committee clarified in a statement today, reported by Wafa News Agency, that this step is the first among many resisting steps, in the context of the prisoners’ ongoing struggle against the occupation’s violations.

The statement said that the death of the hunger-striking prisoner Khader Adnan made the prisoners more determined to continue arming themselves with the hunger strike to confront the occupation  jailers.

The committee called on the free people of the world to use all tools of pressure and struggle to free the captive Walid Daqqa before it is too late.
