Palestinian detainee Falah Shehadeh begins an open-ended hunger strike

Occupied Al-Quds – (ST) – The Palestinian prisoner, Falah Shehadeh started an open-ended hunger strike in protest against the arbitrary practices of the Israeli occupation against him.

Palestinian Prisoners Affairs Commission said on Wednesday that Shehadeh, who has been detained since 2004 and who suffers from severe stomach pain, started a hunger strike to protest against the occupation’s violations against him, foremost of which is the deliberate medical negligence, according to Wafa News Agency.

A few days ago, the Commission warned of the worsening health condition of Shehadeh. It called on the international legal and humanitarian institutions to assume their responsibilities to put an end to the systematic crimes of the occupation against the prisoners, especially the crime of medical negligence and slow killing, which is witnessing a significant escalation in recent times.
