Palestinian commission: Israeli occupation procrastinates in diagnosing the diseases of detainees

OCCUPIED AL-QUDS, Jan.31, (ST)-The Commission of Palestinian Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs reiterated on Monday that the intentional and systematic medical negligence being practiced by the Israeli occupation against the detainees in its jails  is a crime that violates international laws.

According to a statement issued by the commission, the Israeli occupation procrastinates in  diagnosing the diseases of detainees and leaves them without treatment  and commits medical mistakes.

The statement indicated that the health condition of detainee Mahmod Fares, a 29-year-old, who has been arrested since 2021 and suffers from cancer, is deteriorating because of the Israeli occupation’s medical negligence.
