A Palestinian child was killed today as a result of an attack by the Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tekoa, east of Bethlehem in the West Bank.
The Palestinian Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces chased school students in the Khirbet al-Deir area in Tekoa, while they were returning to their homes, which led to the fall of the 7-year-old child, Rayan Suleiman, who was subsequently taken to the hospital.
The agency quoted the Palestinian Ministry of Health as saying: that the child arrived at the emergency department in Beit Jala Hospital and his heart was not beating, and that all doctors’ attempts to revive him were unsuccessful.
Since the beginning of this year, 35 Palestinian children have been killed by Israeli bullets, 19 of them in the West Bank, and 16 in the besieged Gaza Strip.
