The Palestinian captive Habib Abu Abed, from the town of Ya’bud, south of the West Bank city of Jenin, has completed 20th years in the Israeli occupation jails.
WAFA news agency quoted Montaser Sammour, director of the Prisoner Club in Jenin, as saying: “The occupation forces detained Abu Abed in 2004, and sentenced him to life imprisonment.”
He indicated that the occupation forces destroyed the house of Abu Abed’s family after his detention, pointing out that the father and mother of the prisoner died while he was in captivity, as the occupation authorities prevented him from giving them a last farewell look.
