Occupied Al-Quds (ST) – In search of lost safety, thousands of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip were displaced again from the southwestern neighborhoods of Gaza City towards the northwestern neighborhoods, under heavy bombardment by the Israeli occupation aircraft and artillery, and this coincided with a massive incursion by the occupation forces into the region, which resulted in dozens of martyrs and wounded, and the siege of dozens of families in their homes.
The occupation tanks this dawn attacked Tal Al-Hawa neighborhood, the industrial area, and the southern outskirts of al-Rimal neighborhood in Gaza, amid heavy bombardment, hours after the occupation issued orders to evacuate the neighborhoods of Al- Shejaiya, Al-Tuffah, and Al-Daraj, east of the city, and forced its residents to flee under bombardment to the western and southwestern regions.
The UNRWA headquarter in the city was also a target for the occupation forces, which stormed into it after launching violent raids, and are still stationed there.
The occupation snipers mounted some high buildings in the vicinity of the headquarter, while rescue and ambulance teams were still trying to reach the wounded and martyrs to evacuate them.
Doctor Izz al-Din Lulu stressed that the occupation forced the people to flee to the western neighborhoods of Gaza and then besieged them there, pointing out that thousands of families are in the streets and do not know where to go under heavy fire and shells.
Muhammad Abdel Aziz stressed that the people in Gaza Strip have witnessed several displacement experiences over the past ten months of aggression, indicating that the occupation aircraft launched heavy raids, targeting roads, homes, and residential buildings in the neighborhoods of Al-Rimal, Tal Al-Hawa and Al-Sina’a, resulting in martyrs and wounded.
The Gaza Media Office reported that the occupation forced the administration of Al-Maamadani Hospital in Gaza City to evacuate the sick and the wounded medical staff from it yesterday evening, indicating that all of the city’s hospitals have become out of service after their evacuation.
Hamas movement affirmed that the escalation of the Zionist occupation’s aggression against Gaza, and targeting tens of thousands and forcing them to flee their homes under brutal bombardment, is an extension of the ongoing war of genocide against the Palestinian people.
It called on the international community and the United Nations to fulfill their legal and humanitarian responsibilities and put pressure to stop the crime of genocide and hold the occupation leaders accountable for their crimes.
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine stated that: The occupation’s bombing of Gaza is the heaviest in months in which it used all types of internationally banned American-made weapons, explaining that the occupation is systematically destroying the infrastructure in the Strip and killing the largest possible number of people.
UNRWA warned that the people of the Strip are constantly displaced, homeless under bombardment, and that living conditions have become unbearable due to the tons of waste and garbage accumulated along the roads and near temporary shelters.
It noted that an estimated 85000 Palestinians were displaced from the Shejaiya neighborhood east of Gaza last week, while the latest data indicate the displacement of at least 66700 Palestinians from eastern Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south,
UNRWA stressed that the need is massive and that it has become impossible for the United Nations to provide any kind of response due to the Israeli bombing and siege and in the light of the occupation’s preventing of the entry of aid and fuel to the strip.
