Palestine’s Permanent Representative to UN calls on Security Council to save the Palestinians in Gaza Strip

Palestinian Permanent Representative to the United Nations Riyad Mansour demanded the security council to take an action to stop the ongoing Israeli occupation aggression and end the siege imposed on Gaza

Wafa News Agency reported that Mansour on Wednesday sent three letters to the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the President of the Security Council and the President of the United Nations General Assembly regarding the martyrdom of hundreds of innocent people in Gaza Strip, following the failure of the Security Council to assume its responsibilities to stop the Israeli occupation’s barbaric aggression on the Palestinian people in Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

Mansour referred to the heinous massacre committed by Israeli occupation in Al-Mamadani  Hospital in Gaza, in which hundreds of martyrs and wounded were killed, indicating that instead of protecting hospitals, civilians and civilian places,  Israel was allowed to ignore all laws and humanitarian standards without any accountability.

The Palestinian diplomat appealed to the Security Council and the international community to move quickly to provide protection for the Palestinian people against Israel and oblige the occupation to abide by the rules of international law.
