Palestine Ministerial Committee of Non-Aligned Countries Condemns the Continuous Violations of the Occupation

Baku, (ST) – The Ministerial Committee of Palestine for the Non-Aligned Movement countries condemned the continuous aggression of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people, calling for an immediate end to it.

The Ministerial Committee also called for an end to the continuous violations of international law by the occupation.

A statement issued by the Head of the Coordinating Office of the Non-Aligned Movement condemned the occupation’s attacks on worshipers in Al-Aqsa Mosque and the threat to displace hundreds of Palestinian families from their homes in occupied Al-Quds(Jerusalem). The statement also condemned the daily incursions and arrest campaigns targeting Palestinians, including children.

The Committee condemned the recent Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which exacerbated the suffering of its people as a result of the siege imposed on them by the occupation for more than 15 years.

The committee demanded an immediate end to the systematic Israeli aggression and apartheid policy against the Palestinians, and to the continuous Israeli violations of international law .They stressed of  finding a settlement to the Palestinian issue

The committees also demanded recognizing the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people, including the right to self-determination, and establishing an independent and sovereign Palestinian state in accordance with relevant United Nations resolutions.
