Palestine delegate to UNESCO: International silence is complicity with “Israel” in continuing the genocidal war in Gaza Strip

The Permanent Representative of Palestine at UNESCO Mounir Anastas has affirmed the right of the Palestinian people to defend themselves against the Israeli occupation, which uses the weapons of murder, starvation and displacement to obliterate  the Palestinian cause.

During the speech of the State of Palestine before the Executive Council of UNESCO held in the French capital, Paris, Anastas underscored  that international silence constitutes complicity to continue the genocidal war in Gaza Strip.

He stressed  the need for immediate action by the international community to stop the Israeli aggression and the horrific killing, destruction and displacement of Palestinians, in addition to stopping the increasing settler terrorism against the Palestinians in the West Bank.
