Palestine calls on the international community to take action to stop the crimes of the occupation

Occupied Jerusalem (ST): The Palestinian presidency once again called on the international community to take urgent action to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation and terror of its settlers, provide international protection for the Palestinian people, and hold the occupation accountable for its violations and crimes against the Palestinians.

In a statement reported by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, the presidency condemned the heinous crime committed by the occupation forces and its settlers today during the suppression of an anti-settlement protest demonstration in Al-Mughayer village, east of Ramallah in the West Bank, by firing bullets and poison gas canisters, which led to the death of 16-year-old Amjad Abu Alia.

The presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, stressed that this crime comes within the framework of the daily killing series that the Palestinian people are exposed to by the occupation forces and settlers who are wreaking corruption and murder, calling on the international community to stop its silence towards these crimes and to hold those responsible to account.
