MOSCOW- A total of 63 Russian servicemen, including people of “sensitive category” were returned from Kiev-controlled territory to Russia, the Russian Defense ministry told reporters Saturday.
“A complicated negotiations process resulted in 63 Russian servicemen returned from Ukrainian territory controlled by the Kiev regime,” the Ministry said.
In particular, people of “sensitive category” were returned thanks to the UAE mediation, the Ministry added.
The Ministry clarified that all servicemen are currently on Russian territory, noting that “they are being provided with necessary medical aid, as well as with an opportunity to contact their relatives.”
