ALEPPO, Jul.5, (ST)- The competent committees continues to settle the status of wanted people and military service deserters within the framework of the efforts being exerted by the state to consolidate security and stability in the areas that have been liberated from terrorism.
According to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA), the member of the Executive Office in Aleppo Governorate, Kumait Assi Al-Sheikh, indicated that requests for those wishing to settle their statuses in the city continued to be received, indicating that the status of about 3000 wanted persons had been settled in the Al-Assad Sports Hall, while the total of those whose status had been settled throughout the governorate amounted to more than 15,500 people.
Al-Sheikh pointed out that all facilities are being followed up and provided by the Aleppo Governorate to obtain personal and family papers for those whose statuses have been settled, which contributes to the return of citizens to their homes and villages easily.
Many wanted people, who have settled their status, believe that the settlement process is an opportunity to begin a new peaceful life in which they can serve their society and contribute to defending their homeland and enhancing stability countrywide.
