Our Vote is our Safty

The plastic artists saw that the upcoming presidential elections are an opportunity through which they express their love to the country and their respect for the Constitution and the continuation of the progress in Syria.

The artist and sculptor Mufeeda Dayoub said that Syrians live nowadays in a democratic atmosphere, in which every person will vote to choose the suitable president who would maintain the security and dignity of the country. Syrians’ voice is a symbol of their presence and their ability to engage in life.

“The Syrian people have the ability to choose the person who will represent them because they possessed great civilization through history.” Dayoub added. Besides, she revealed the intention of the Syrian artists to hold an exhibition entitled” Constitutional Duty” by which they express their respect for the Constitution and their strong desire to choose the president.

By his turn, the artist Abdul Rahman Mhanna saw that the elections are an explicit expression of the freedom for every citizen in Syria. And everyone should practice his right in voting for choosing the president far away from any pressure or favoritism.

The artist Mhanna asked the next president to concentrate on the judiciary which must practice its  full role in making law prevail on all segments and levels of society.

Artist and sculptor Hadi Obeid asserted that the duty of the artists is to work on the conduct of the elections in a positive and true way because it expresses their  social and humanitarian aspirations, especially during the ongoing crisis in our country.
On the other hand, artist Obeid addressed the Syrians saying : you must love your home, your land, your history and your civilization and think about your future.

Artist and sculptor Darren Alshalaq also stressed that the title of the elections is to work on the stability of the country because it reflects the positive vision of the Syrian people and their national and social aspirations. Darren wished that all Syrians  must participate in this constitutional entitlement hoping that the elected president seeks to restore security to Syria with a comprehensive, honest and spontaneous justice for all citizens.

Artist Wafa Khatib noted that all artists have a social and high  sense and thus they are supposed to participate in the upcoming presidential elections with absolute transparency. She added that choosing the right president is considered the solution for all obstacles that threaten the future of our nation.
