Beirut (ST): Lebanese President Michael Oun has denounced the Israeli artillery aggression against South Lebanon.
Presiding over a meeting for the Lebanese Higher Defence Council, Oun said that the Israeli aggression represents a threat to the atmosphere of stability in South Lebanon, especially as the UNSC will review the UNIFIL tasks in the South shortly.
In turn, Lebanese Prime Minister Hassan Diyab affirmed that what happened yesterday in the South is an attack on Lebanese sovereignty and a threat to Resolution 1701.
An Israeli artillery attack targeted several areas in South Lebanon yesterday. The Lebanese National Resistance said that it will respond to the Israeli attack which targeted al-Hibariya village and caused damage to a civilian house.
