Opinion poll shows that Turkey’s AKP has lost 25% of supporters

ANKARA, (ST)- An opinion poll on the popularity of political parties in Turkey has revealed that some 25% of voters who previously supported the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) in Turkey are now no longer supporting the policies that have been adopted by this party since parliamentary elections in 2018.

Zaman newspaper reported that the results of the poll, conducted by “MAK” Center for Social Research, show that the rate of support for Turkey’s AKP declined to 32 % .

 Most of the voters expressed their dissatisfaction over the economic measures taken by the Turkish regime’s authorities to fight coronavirus as only 36 % supported these measures.
