Opening Khan Sheikhoun Health Center after its reconstruction

Idlib Health Directorate opened on Saturday Khan Sheikhoun Health Center in Idlib liberated countryside, after reconstructing it to provide free treatment and health services to the people of the area and neighboring villages.

Dr. Hassan Jabara, Idlib Health Director, said in a statement to SANA reporter that the center includes several clinics, including pediatric, dental and  leishmaniasis treatment clinics, a cadre of nurses, midwives and pharmacy and laboratory technicians. The building consists of three floors, one of which was designated as a health center and another as the headquarters of Idlib Health Directorate. .

Dr. Mazen Najm, head of the supervisory area of Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib Health Directorate, indicated that the center contains a special section for nursing which provides first aid, as well as a pharmacy to prescribe various medicines, in addition to the vaccination program for children.

Dr. Hiam al-Kamel, head of a mobile team to treat leishmaniasis in Idlib liberated countryside, said that the team provides daily treatment services for leishmaniasis patients, especially in the remote areas of Khan Sheikhoun.
