Only the Syrian People pertain the right to the future of Syria, Minister Al-Moaalem.
DAMASCUS, (ST)_ The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic is heading for Geneva for a dialogue with no preconditions, and hopefully, with the biggest representation of national oppositions, which are not linked to foreign agenda nor are sitting in 5 star hotels, declared Deputy Premier, Minster of Expatriates and Foreign Affairs, Walid Al-Moaalem.
In a press conference, broadcast live on Syrian TV, Minister Al-Moaalem asserted that De Mistura, the UN envoy to Syria, has no right to suggest the agenda of the dialogue among Syrians, asserting that any future National Unity Government is to talk about Constitution.
As for the ‘Presidential elections, none has right to talk about Presidential elections ONLY the Syrian People pertain the right to the future of Syria,” reiterated Minister Al-Moaalem.
“From now on, we will never accept your deviation from objectivity as to satisfy a certain party or another,” Minister Al-Moaalem said in a direct message to Mr. De Mistura, asserting that the coming Parliamentarian elections are in line with the Constitution and have nothing to do with any dialogue.
Minister Al-Moaalem pointed out that more than 11 thousand Syrians are candidates in the forthcoming Parliamentarian elections and called on the Syrians to overwhelmingly participate in the parliamentarian elections.
We are committed to the cessation of hostilities as to spare the blood of the Syrians, citing violations by armed terrorists, asserting that the Syrian Army has every legitimate right to reply to any violations, Minister Al-Moaalem added.
I call on all who carry arms to come for reconciliations and settle their cases and we do welcome those who want to fight with us against Daesh and other armed groups, Minister Al-Moaalem said.
None dares to interfere in a land war against Syria and those who want individually to interfere, let them succeed in the Yemen first, Minister Al-Moaalem added, asserting that in plastic boxes, we will send the aggressors against Syria.
There is no plan B , and as US Secretary of State, Kerry, declared two days ago, Minister Al-Moaalem said, asserting that the Syrians would reject any bid to dismember Syria, and that the Syrians do reject any talk about federalism in Syria and do stand with the unity sovereignty and integrity of Syria.
Minister Al-Moaalem underscored that he is optimistic over the heroism of Syrian Armed forces and their achievements, asserting that we go to Geneva as to make success of Geneva and this depends not only on us but on other parties who would attend Geneva, and if the other party has Syrians who believe in their homeland and not in the illusion of taking over power.
”Nothing talks about a transitional period as far as the presidency as the UN Documents say,” said Minister Al-Moaalem.
Transitional is from current Constitution into another constitution and from current government to another government and it is only the right of Syrians to have the issue related to Presidency, Minister Al-Moaalem explained.
In reply to a question, Minister Al-Moaalem described as a ridiculous resolution by the League of Arab States against Hizbollah and said that we thank God that we are not members of the League.
Minister Al-Moaalem appreciated the roles played by Russia, Iran and Hezbollah and hopefully China too in the fight against terrorism.
We would never dialogue with anybody who would address the question of the Presidency in Syria, the exclusive right of the Syrians, Minister Al-Moallem said in reply to another question.
The Kurds are our brothers in the fight against Daesh and they would be satisfied in the Syrian Arab Republic once the crisis is settled, said Minister Al-Moaalem, reiterating that the Kurds are part of the future of Syria and Syria’s victory is but for all Syrians.
Minister Al-Moaalem underlined that countries neighboring Syria should implement related anti-terrorism UN resolutions, or they would face the consequences of the proliferation of terrorism.
On Saturday, February 6th, 2016, Minister Al-Moaalem declared that Syria is determined to cleanse Syria from all terrorism and the political solution would help but the end of the struggle in Syria is through the elimination of ISIS, and al-Qaeda affiliates.
The conspirators and terrorism-financers are disappointed over the Syrians victories against terrorism. Thus, they would like to participate in person in a direct aggression against Syrians, Minister Al-Moaalem added.

In a live broadcast by Syrian Television, Minister Al-Moaalem underlined that Syria is a republic, sovereign state, and will resist any violation to its sovereignty.
Minister Al-Moallem pointed out that from Jordan it is now a one way ticket for terrorists, where conveys of terrorists are still in motion across borders, on the ground we have not seen any change in the Jordanian stance.

We are not in need to dialogue with ghosts and that is why we asked for a list of the Riyadh delegation, which had already decided to withdraw from the talks, especially following the victories of the Syrian forces in Syria.
Riyadh delegation does not belong to the Syrian people and so they did not feel happy for the victories of the Syrians against terrorists, the minister added.
Riyadh delegation came out of the pressure put on them and not for an intra Syria talks. They even stated the withdrawal of the Riyadh delegation even before they arrived to Geneva.
Once unjust siege on more than 70 thousand Syrians is lifted, why did not they feel happy and where are the humanitarian aspects in their behaviors.
We are fully keen on our citizens and their humanitarian conditions even those besieged by the terrorist groups.
Representation in the talks should be as much expanded as possible, wondering why the representatives of the domestic oppositions in Syria have not been consulted, asserting that none can claim to be as the sole representative of the opposition.
No substantial dialogue whatsoever was conducted in Geneva, because of the withdrawal of Riyadh delegation.
Minister Al-Moaalem highly lauded the friendly constructive role of Russia in the fight against terrorism and in humanitarian assistance to the Syrians, particularly those besieged by terrorists.
Minister Al-Moaalem lauded the performance of the Syrian delegation, in commitment to the national interests of Syria, to Geneva talks, chaired by Dr. Bashar al-Jaafari, the Syrian Ambassador to the United Nations.
We are on the way to end the crisis and De Mistura has to be objective and exert efforts and not as to cover Riyadh delegation, highlighted Minister Al-Moaalem, in reply to a question.
Nobody is careful about the humanitarian conditions of the Syrians more than the Government of Syria, including about those besieged as human shields by the terrorists, Al-Moaalem added, asserting that the assistance should not, however, go to terrorists on the ground.

One the Syrian Army decides to restore a place it would, Minister Al-Moaalem said addressing those who carry weapons against the Syrians as It is the time for them to come back to reason, asserting that Turkey closed borders in front of you because they want you to be killed and your life is as important as the life of Syrian soldiers and citizens.
