One person martyred, another injured in an Israeli raid on Aitaroun, south Lebanon

A person was martyred and another was injured in an Israeli raid on the village of Aitaroun in south Lebanon on Sunday.

The Lebanese National News Agency quoted the Public Health Emergency Operations Center, affiliated to the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health, as saying in a statement: “An Israeli raid on the town of Aitaroun led to the martyrdom of one person and the injury of another.”

In a related context, the enemy warplanes launched a series of raids since the early hours of this dawn targeting border towns and forested and open areas in the south and western Bekaa.

More than 60 air raids were carried out by the Israeli enemy focusing on the valley between Ansar and Zarariyeh Aita al-Shaab and the valley adjacent to the Nabatieh-Khardali road, the area between Maaliya and Malikiyeh, the outskirts of Zebqin towards Sheheen, Wadi Hassan at the outskirts of Majdal Zuno, the outskirts of Rabb al-Thalathin, Yaroun and the town of Adaisseh.

The enemy warplanes also renewed their raids targeting Wadi al-Saluqi and the valley between the towns of Roumine and Deir al-Zahrani and areas in the western sector of Tyre district
