One civilian martyred, three others injured in fresh terrorist attacks on different regions

Provinces – One civilian was martyred when the terrorist groups fired rocket shells on the citizens’ houses in Matnin village in Hama western countryside.

SANA said that Jabhat al-Nusra-affiliated terrorist groups fired several rocket shells on Matnin village in the western countryside of Hama, killing one civilian and causing material damage to the citizens’ houses, private properties and infrastructure.

 

Earlier, terrorist groups affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in Eastern Ghouta continued to attack the neighborhoods of Damascus and its Countryside with rocket and mortar shells, causing the injury of two civilians.

 A source at Damascus Police Command told SANA that a civilian was injured on Monday when terrorist groups positioned in some areas of the Eastern Ghouta fired a rocket shell that landed on al-Tahrir Square, adding that the attack also caused material damage.

Later, the source said that two shells landed in Beirut Street and the vicinity of St. Louis Hospital in Damascus, causing material damage.

Terrorist organizations fired three shells on al-Dwila’a area, one of them landed in the vicinity of the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering which caused material damage, the source added.

The source said that ten other shells hit Aleppo Street and al-Mazraa, injuring a person and causing material damage.

Material damage was also caused to properties and infrastructure as a result of firing tens of shells by al-Nusra terrorists on al-Assad residential Suburb in Harasta, according to a source at Damascus Countryside Police Command.

In the same area, a mortar shell landed on a storehouse for the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC), causing only material damage.

Syrian Arab Army units responded to the attacks by targeting with precise strikes the sites from which the shells were launched, inflicting heavy losses in ranks and equipment upon the terrorists.

A Woman injured in terrorist shelling attack on Daraa countryside

A woman was injured in a shelling attack by Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists on the area of al-Ma’sara between the cities of Ezraa and al-Sheikh Miskeen in Daraa northern countryside.

SANA’s reporter in Daraa said that Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists positioned in al-Lajat area in Daraa northeastern countryside on Monday targeted with a number of rocket shells and with heavy machineguns the locals in their agricultural farms, leaving a woman injured in the surroundings of al-Ma’sara on the road between Ezraa and al-Shiekh Miskeen cities.

Daraa Police Chief, Rami Taqla, told SANA that terrorist groups targeted with 7 rocket shells the north-eastern side of Ezraa, causing material damage to properties, while terrorists holed up in al-Nazeheen camp in Daraa city targeted with a shell the police station, causing material damage.

SANA said that the army units responded to the sources of fire and destroyed fortified positions for terrorists and a number of their launching pads.

On Sunday, a woman was injured and material damage was caused to the local’s properties and houses due to a shelling attack by al-Nusra terrorists on a number of neighborhoods in the cities of Daraa and Ezraa.
