One-China principle an anchor for peace, stability across Taiwan Strait: Chinese FM spokesperson

The Chinese Foreign Ministry reiterated that the “one-China” principle is the anchor for peace and stability across Taiwan Straits.

Commenting on US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken’s recent remarks on Taiwan, ministry spokesman Wang Wenbin said at a regular press conference, “We deplore and reject Secretary Blinken’s statement,” calling on the United States not to underestimate the strong resolve, determination and ability of 1.4 billion Chinese people  to defend the country’s  sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
