New York (ST): The meeting, which was held between Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Miqdad, on the sidelines of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly, dealt with the latest developments in occupied Palestine and the ongoing Israeli aggression against it.

President Abbas reviewed the efforts made by Palestine on the international arena and at the United Nations to defend the rights of the Palestinian people.

For his part, Minister Miqdad stressed Syria’s condemnation of the Israeli occupation practices against the Palestinians, including continuous attacks, settlement policies, Judaization, siege, arbitrary arrest, forced displacement and racial discrimination.
