Damascus (ST): On the occasion of the 71st anniversary of the Syrian Arab Student Day, the Executive Bureau of the National Union of Syrian Students held a central mass rally on the auditorium of the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Damascus, during which several student services projects were launched.

The projects included an Electronic Service Center through which all students’ transactions can be completed electronically.

Dr. Bassam Ibrahim, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, referred in a speech to the prominent and important role of the National Union of Syrian Students at local, regional and international levels to clarify the national approach and positions and stand by the Syrian Arab Army in confronting all forms of terrorism.

For his part, Dr. Ammar Sa’ati, member of the central leadership of the Baath Arab Socialist Party, head of the Youth Office, confirmed that the National Union of Syrian Students has been for decades and remains the incubator that meets the aspirations of young people in Syria and their visions, referring to the sacrifices made by the students who carried the book in one hand and the weapon in the other hand and obtained the certificate during the terrorist war that Syria was subjected to during the past ten years.

In turn, Darine Suleiman, President of the National Union of Syrian Students, considered that the high vitality and spirit of renewal that characterize the National Union of Syrian Students in the most difficult circumstances is nothing but evidence that the principles do not vanish or die as long as they are carried by renewed blood that runs in the veins of those who are sincere to belong to the homeland.
