On the first day of Eid, the Emirates Red Crescent holds an event for orphans and cancer patients in Lattakia

Lattakia (ST): The Emirates Red Crescent, in cooperation with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent in Lattakia, hosted 150 orphans and cancer patients, to celebrate with them on the first day of Eid al-Fitr in the gaming hall of the “Orange Mall” mall in Lattakia.

The representative of the UAE Red Crescent delegation, Mohammed Al-Kaabi, told news reporters that they wanted to share the joy of Eid with orphans and children with cancer on the first day of Eid, to spread happiness and joy in their hearts and to give them the opportunity to celebrate the holiday like their peers.

Al-Kaabi explained that the aim of the event is to provide psychological and moral support to orphans and children with cancer, stressing that Operation “The Gallant Knight 2” and the Emirates Crescent continue to provide support to them.

In turn, the head of the Al-Basha’ir Charity Association, lawyer Ghiath Sofi, explained that the Association is concerned with many humanitarian activities, including caring for orphans, as 60 children from the Association of different ages responded to the invitation.
