On the behalf of President Bashar Al- Assad, Assistant Secretary General of the Ba’ath Arab Socialist Party Eng. Hilal al-Hilal offered condolences to His Excellency Archbishop Antranik Evazian, Head of the Armenian Catholic community on Northeast and the Euphrates Region on the martyrdom of Father Hosib Hanna Bidu and his father at the hands of gangs of criminals.
Al-Hilal conveyed President Bashar Al-Assad’s highest condolences to the families of the martyr, stressing that targeting clerics is like targeting the voice of truth, which calls for brotherhood, love and peace.
On November 11, the terrorist organizations targeted Father Hosib Hanna Bidu and his father during their trip to the Armenian Catholic Church in Deir Ezzor.
