On the anniversary of the Martyrs’ Day: Syrian students in Slovakia renew their stance in support of their country

Bratislava (ST): Syrian students  in Slovakia commemorated the Day of  Martyrs, who offered their blood for the honor and dignity of their country  in the past and present.

The students expressed their appreciation for the sacrifices of the Syrian Arab Army in defending the sovereignty, unity and safety of the homeland, liberating the lands from terrorism and confronting the pressures and measures imposed by the United States and the West on the Syrian people and the region, to extend their agenda and dominance over the capabilities of our nation by sending terrorists and imposing illegal coercive measures.

The National Union of Syrian Students, Slovakia branch, confirmed in a statement that martyrdom is the noblest message a person carries in his defense of the homeland, stressing that the will of martyrdom is still rooted in the veins of our present generations, which made victory over French colonialism in 1947 and victory in  October Liberation War 1973 and today’s victory over terrorism.
