On the 73rd anniversary of Deir Yassin massacre, the occupation atrocious crimes continue in Palestine
Occupied Jerusalem (ST): Today, memory evokes the Deir Yassin massacre committed by the Zionist terrorist gangs against the defenceless Palestinians 73 years ago, in which hundreds of people were martyred.
Deir Yassin massacre is one of the most heinous atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation and it cannot be erased from the Palestinian memory, not only by its many martyrs who were killed by Israeli criminal gangs, but because it paved the way for successive sinister plans to displace Palestinians from their lands, and liquidate their cause and their legitimate rights.
The terrorist attack on the village of Deir Yassin, west of occupied Jerusalem, began at dawn on April 9, 1948, when the Zionist terrorist gangs of Irgun and Stern used various kinds of weapons without distinguishing between a man, a woman and a child.
The Zionist criminal gangs were not satisfied with their massacre through mass executions, rape, torture and mutilation of corpses, but abducted some Palestinians and took them to Israeli settlements and then executed them in cold blood. These gangs also prevented international institutions, including the International Committee of the Red Cross, from reaching the crime scene to find out what happened in reality.
Deir Yassin massacre came as the beginning of another series of massacres and crimes committed by the Zionist occupation against the Palestinians, especially the Tantura , Kafr Qasim, Gaza, Jenin, Khan Yunis and Qana massacres, in addition to the destruction of 425 Palestinian villages and the displacement of the Palestinian people.
After 73 years of the Deir Yassin massacre, the Israeli occupation continues its crimes and attacks on the Palestinians, their property and their sanctities, with the aim of displacing them, seizing their lands and Judaizing them, amidst suspicious international silence and absolute support of the US for the colonialist plans of the occupation authorities.
