On Mother’s Day.. Syrian women have become a symbol of  strength, patience, sacrifice and heroism

Mother’s Day in Syria has its significance as it celebrates and honors women who offered their sons to defend the homeland in the face of all enemies.

The  mother of the two martyrs, Muhannad and Ahmed Al-Sae’ed, from the town of Khan Arnabeh in  Quneitra governorate, who told SANA  the story of her two sons’ martyrdom  during the terrorist war on Syria , stressed that despite the pain and suffering, the Syrian mother stood steadfast with determination to complete their mission and bring up good generations who will contribute to shape a better future that is full of hope, beauty and love.

She said that the patience of martyrs’ mothers conveys a message that Syria will remain strong and steadfast and the sons will follow in the footsteps of their fathers till achieving victory.

The two martyrs’ mother believed the homeland is the mother and she had nothing more precious than  her sons to present them to defend their homeland.

I lost their bodies but their souls are still alive. My sons are a source of pride to me and their country. On Mother’s Day they gave me the most precious gift, which is martyrdom for the sake of the homeland.” She concluded.
