On Mother Day the nongovernmental association for supporting cancer patients Lamsit Hanan has organized recently a special ceremony in Zien Palace in al- Sweida governorate.
The humanitarian association which was established in 2005 by a distinguished group from women from the city of Sweida works on offering all- out support for cancer patients through ensuring all kinds of facilities, regarding entering the related hospitals, including al- Assad al- Jama’a, al-Baironi and the national hospital in the city of Sweida.
The association’s members estimated at 500 women from Sweida governorate.The members are exerting intensive efforts regarding offering monetary ‘ morally and psychological support for the patients.
” we have specialists at all domains. They are working on offering free services for cancer patients,” Member of the association Mahani Janbai said to Syriatimes reporter in Sweida.
She also added that the association depends on grants from the governorate’s various citizens for supporting patients all over the homeland’s territories.
On a question about the crisis negative impact on the association’s endeavors the member answered that the association is currently suffering due to the shortage of grants, put in spite of that some benefactors are insisting on supporting the association to meet crisis dire repercussions.
For her part Deputy Head of Jranana Charitable Social Association Ghazali al- Jramany spoke about the continued cooperation and coordination between both associations regarding offering all-out help and support for the cancer patients, namely in ensuring transportation and medicines.
She also gave a briefing on Jramana’s association efforts regarding offering monetary and morally support through conducting medical symposiums and charitable markets in a step that aimed at collecting grants from benefactors.
The Deputy also referred to the facilities that are given by the ministry of Social Affair for both associations in Jramana and Sweida.
