On Martyrs Day, Chief of Staff visits Directorate for the Martyrs, Wounded and Missing, Schools of Martyrs’ Sons and Daughters

Damascus – On the occasion of Martyrs’ Day, Chief of Staff of the Syrian Army and Armed Forces, General Abdul Karim Mahmoud, accompanied by a number of senior officers, on Saturday visited the Directorate for the Martyrs, Wounded and Missing, to inspect the work mechanism and the services provided to the families of the martyrs, the wounded and the missing.

Gen. Ibrahim praised the efforts exerted by the directorate’s staff to secure and facilitate the services to the families of the martyrs, wounded and the missing persons.

Gen. Ibrahim also visited the Schools of Martyrs’ Sons and Daughters, and stressed the need to provide the full care and great attention to the sons and daughters of the martyrs, whose parents sacrificed their souls to defend their homeland.

Also on this occasion, the commanders of the military regions visited the cemeteries of the martyrs and placed wreaths on behalf of President Al-Assad at the martyrs’ memorials there and recited verses of the holy Quran for the rest of their souls.
