On its second day, “Homs Recovery” conference discusses the situation of the health sector in Syria

The “Homs Recovery” conference, that was held by the Ministry of Health in cooperation with MedGlobal International at the Safir Hotel in Homs, under the slogan “Together We Rebuild Health… Together We Rebuild People,” discussed the situation of the health sector in Syria and the role of health initiatives and organizations in supporting the health system.

 

The conference focused on supporting the return of displaced persons and refugees, post-crisis recovery, developing strategies to rebuild the health system in Syria, launching the Syria Health Revival Network initiative for Syrian health organizations abroad.

 

“meeting the needs of cancer patients in Homs, investing in the health sector and sustainability, empowering health care through the next generation of caregivers, and the role of Syrian health organizations abroad and health campaigns in supporting the health system” were also discussed in the conference.
