On its 2nd day, the Syrian Heritage Song Festival presents songs from Golan, Sweida, Damascus and Deir Ezzor

The Syrian Heritage Song Festival, in its second edition, continues the activities of its second day at Al-Azzem Palace in Damascus.

On a Syrian heritage singing journey, the Syrian Heritage band, led by Maestro Nazih Asa’ad, started off the second day events with singer Fadi Al-Ali, representing the occupied Syrian Golan with his voice, where he sang three songs, “Ya Zarif Al-Toul”, “Hitti Ala Nar Ya Jadda”, and “Bukra Ben’awd”.

Singer Lana Hebraso performed “Tahtihoudajha” and “Qalouli kin”songs from the Damascene heritage. She also sang two songs from the Circassian heritage.

When it came to the heritage of the Sweida city, the voices of both Lana Hebraso and Fadi Al-Ali singers joined in a duet where they performed “Mahboub Kalbak” traditional song of the city.

Moreover, Singer Renas Al-Youssef chose to sing the Mardanali heritage (the heritage of the north east cities of Syria).

Finally, the singer Rahal concluded the second day by songs from Deir Ezzor’s heritage, also singer Iskandar Obaid sang a group of traditional songs from the city.

It is noteworthy that the Syrian Heritage Song Festival, in its second edition, will continue until today evening, Tuesday.
