On behalf of President Al-Assad… Syrian ambassador in Buenos Aires participates in President Milei’s inauguration ceremony

During an official inauguration ceremony, the Syrian Ambassador in Buenos Aires Sami Salama offered congratulations to Argentine President-elect Javier Milei  on behalf of President Al-Assad .

President Milei, who has officially took over his duties from ex-president President Alberto Fernandez, highly appreciated President Al-Assad’s congratulations and thanked the ambassador.

Later, Ambassador Salama  met with Argentine Foreign Minister Diana Mondino. It was agreed to schedule a visit in the near future to discuss the  bilateral Syrian-Argentine relations.

The ambassador reviewed with Security Minister Patricia Burlich the long history of the community of Syrian origins and its integration into the Argentinean society.
