Omani Foreign Ministry: We support the sovereignty and independence of Syria

Muscat (ST): The Undersecretary of the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Diplomatic Affairs, Khalifa bin Ali Al-Harthi, affirmed his country’s positions in support of the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of Syria, and the two countries’ keenness to upgrade their bilateral relations to the highest levels to serve their common interests.

This came during his meeting with Ambassador Idris Maya on the occasion of presenting his credentials as Syria’s  ambassador to the Sultanate. Maya showed appreciation for the Sultanate’s stances in support of Syria and keenness on its sovereignty and territorial integrity, noting that upgrading and strengthening relations between the two countries in all fields is among the priorities of Syrian foreign policy.
