Oman denounces Israeli war crimes against the Palestinian people

The Sultanate of Oman has condemned the war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinians in Gaza, calling on the international community to adopt a firm stance towards Israeli violations and stop the brutal aggression against the besieged Strip.

The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed on Saturday  in a statement, reported by the Oman News Agency, its strong condemnation of the continued massacres and war crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against the Palestinian people, and the targeting of civilians and health sector facilities in the Gaza Strip.

The Ministry stressed “the need for a real stand by the international community, based on its moral, legal and humanitarian responsibilities, to put an end to this clear arbitrariness of Israel, and its violation of international laws and conventions, as well as demanding that the International Criminal Court form a court for war crimes committed against the Palestinian people in Gaza, and to prosecute Israeli criminals.

The statement  stressed the immediate cessation of this brutal war is an urgent necessity that the international community must not tolerate through adopting a firm stance towards the ongoing Israeli violations against innocent and defenseless civilians, and allowing the delivery of urgent and necessary humanitarian aid to them.”

The Omani Foreign Ministry confirmed theimplementation of international legitimacy resolutions, noting “the firm Omani stancestowards the Palestinian issue ,calling for the withdrawal of the Israeli occupation from all occupied Palestinian territories up to the 1967 borders and enabling the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.”
