Oman calls on the international community to intervene immediately to stop Israeli violations of international law
Muscat, (ST) – The Sultanate of Oman warned of the consequences of the Israeli entity’s invasion of the Palestinian city of Rafah. It called on the international community to intervene immediately to stop the ongoing Israeli violations of international law and the rights of the Palestinian people.
The Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed in a statement its deep concern over the continued brutal aggression launched by the Israeli authorities against Gaza Strip and the war crimes and genocide against defenseless civilians in the occupied Palestinian territories, and demanded an ummediate stop for them.
According to the statement, the Sultanate of Oman appealed to the international community to intervene immediately to stop the war and the ongoing brutal Israeli violations of international law and international humanitarian law. It held the Israeli entity fully responsible for these violations, war crimes, and its policy of starvation and forced displacement, all of which represent crimes against humanity.
The statement warned of the consequences of the Israeli forces invading the city of Rafah, which portends serious disastrous effects that may lead to expanding the scope of conflict and tension in the region.
