Olympic soccer team hold training camp

DAMASCUS, (ST) – The Olympic soccer team have lost 1-0 to Shurta, first division club, at the Faiha stadium in Damascus.

The match is part of the team’s preparation for taking part in the U-23 Asia Cup qualifiers which will be held in Bangladesh.

 

The team were drawn alongside: Bangladesh, India and Uzbekistan.

During their camp, the team also played a friendly against Jaish last week where they lost  (0-1).

The team, under coach Muhanad Faqir, will meet Majd tomorrow.
