Okamura: Expansion plans of Turkish regime are threat to Europe

Deputy Speaker of the Czech House of Representatives, head of the Movement of Freedom and Democracy, Tomio Okamura, affirmed that “the aggressiveness and insolence of the Turkish regime  no longer has limits ” and that its expansionist plans now represent a threat to Europe.

In a position published today on his Facebook page, Okamura criticized the silence of  NATO and the European Union towards the aggressive practices of the Turkish regime in the Middle East and in the Caucasus, warning that the president of this regime, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, is trying to expand his influence outside his country’s borders, starting with Cyprus, the Greek islands, Libya, northern Syria, and now  heading towards Armenia.

Okamura, several days ago had called on the Czech government to work within the European Union to impose sanctions on the Erdogan regime due to its aggressive policies in the region and its contribution to the escalation in the Nagorno Karabakh region.
