Oil paintings and sculptural worksof 46 artists from Aleppo depict the war events and the joy of victory over terrorism

 Aleppo (ST): In commemoration of the sixth anniversary of the liberation of the city of Aleppo from terrorism and in loyalty to its righteous martyrs, the Union of Fine Artists, Aleppo Branch, organized an art exhibition entitled (Victory of Aleppo).

46 male and female artists displayed their oil paintings and sculptural works at the Al-Assad Gallery of Fine Arts, depicting, through their various fine art schools, the events of terrorist war in Aleppo and the joy of victory. 

Youssef Mawlawi, head of the Aleppo branch of the Union of Fine Artists, explained that the exhibition included works that commemorated the heroism of the martyrs, who sacrificed their blood in defense of the homeland, and expressed of the joy of victory over terrorism.

Ibrahim Dawoud, secretary of the Aleppo branch of the Union of Fine Artists, stated that the exhibition has become an annual tradition on the anniversary of the victory, pointing out that this year 46 artists participated in this event, through 8 sculptural works and 38 oil paintings, depicting the impact of terrorism on the city in addition to the joy of victory and the dream to achieve the best, each according to his artistic style.

Ahmed Mansour, Secretary of the Aleppo branch of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, praised the works showcased in the exhibition, as they embodied reality, showed the characteristics of artistic taste, signaled the return of artistic life in the city of Aleppo and expressed the greatness of victory.
