Official and popular delegations offer condolences to the earthquake victims at the Syrian Embassy in Amman
Amman (ST): Official and popular delegations, Syrian citizens and Arabs residing in Jordan offered condolences over the victims of the earthquake that occurred in Syria, during their vist to the headquarters of the Syrian Embassy in Amman. These parties continued also collect aid for those affected.
Many ambassadors and heads of Arab and foreign diplomatic missions present in Jordan, heads of parties, political and popular activities, and university presidents offered condolences, expressing their deepest sympathy to the Syrian leadership, government and people. They also wished a speedy recovery for the injured, affirming their solidarity and standing with Syria in this great calamity.
Among those who offered condolences were the Iranian ambassador, the Brazilian ambassador, the Pakistani ambassador, the Lebanese ambassador, the Cypriot ambassador, the Czech ambassador, the Mexican ambassador, the chargé d’affaires of the UAE embassy, the chargé d’affairs of the Tunisian embassy, the chargé d’affaires of the Swiss embassy, the chargé d’affaires of the Iraqi embassy, the Bahraini deputy ambassador, a counselor from the Sudanese embassy, a consul from the Malaysian embassy, and a consul from the Malaysian embassy, President and members of the Jordanian Council for Popular Policies, and President of the Association Against Zionism and Racism.
