The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) announced that there was almost nothing left to distribute in Gaza Strip, warning of the poor water and sanitation situation in the Strip.
OCHA said in a statement published on its account on the X platform: “There is almost nothing left to distribute in Gaza Strip. The water and sanitation situation is rapidly deteriorating, and with the ban on the entry of aid, people can only resort to using rubble and waste to meet their needs.”
The World Health Organization announced yesterday that it is suffering from a difficult situation as a result of the Israeli occupation forces closing the Rafah crossing on the 6th of this month, noting that it has not received any medical supplies since then.
The Israeli occupation forces stormed eastern Rafah on the 7th of this month, closed the vital crossing for transporting supplies and fuel necessary for humanitarian operations in the Strip, and completely stopped the delivery of aid.
