Occupying Forces Prevent Palestinians From Reaching Al-Aqsa Mosque

This morning, the Israeli occupation forces prevented thousands of Palestinians from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque.

The Palestinian WAFA News Agency reported that the occupation forces deployed at the checkpoints leading to the occupied city of Al-Quds (Jerusalem) prevented thousands of Palestinians from reaching Al-Aqsa to perform prayers on the first Friday of the holy month of Ramadan, and intensified their checkpoints, bringing further reinforcements to the streets of the city, the old town and the Al-Aqsa area.

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs earlier condemned Israel’s tightening of measures to prevent Palestinians from reaching the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, stressing that it represents a blatant attack on sanctities and a violation of international law.
