People in the occupied Syrian Golan have reaffirmed their complete rejection of the Israeli occupation and its schemes that aim at obliterating their Syrian Arab identity, reiterating that the Golan will continue to be a Syrian Arab land.
In a statement marking the 42nd anniversary of the historic and heroic comprehensive strike in Golan against the void Israeli decision to annex occupied Golan, the citizens in Golan said “we renew our rejection of all the occupation’s schemes which aim at obliterating our Syrian Arab identity and stripping us of our lands. We also reaffirm that the Golan, as a land, people, soil, air and water is a Syrian Arab and it will continue being so forever and occupation will end and Golan will return to Syria whatever time this may take.
“We are living in the age of upraising and valiant resistance of peoples against injustice, occupation and colonialism. The occupation is collapsing and its criminal truth has become clear to all. On the annexation anniversary, we renew out pledge of loyalty and adherence to our Syrian identity and belonging,” people in Golan added, stressing that the liberation of occupied Golan is now getting nearer more than ever.
