Israeli occupation razes wide areas of Palestinian land in Nablus

The Israeli occupation forces on Saturday raided Palestinian areas to the south of the city of Nablus and razed wide areas of land.

Ghassan Douglas, the Palestinian official in charge of the settlement issue in the northern part of the West Bank told WAFA news agency on Saturday that the occupation forces stormed the towns of Yetma and Qabalan in the south of Nablus with a number of bulldozers and razed wide areas of land with the aim of seizing the area and expanding a settlement that is already built on this Palestinian land.

The occupation forces have escalated their attacks on Palestinian lands in the West Bank and seized them within the framework of its Judaization and settlement schemes, ignoring all the international resolutions that affirm the illegality of settlement building activities in the occupied territories and call for halting them.

In a relevant context, scores of Israeli settlers attacked a number of Palestinians, including children, in the south of the West Bank city of Al-Khalil.

Maan News Agency reported that a group of Israeli settlers stormed the Palestinians’ agricultural lands in Sha’b Al-Butum area, to the south of Al-Khalil, and attacked a Palestinian family with sharp tools causing injuries to the father, mother and a number of children.

Another group of Israeli settlers also stormed Hawara town in the West Bank city of Nablus and attacked locals’ houses and properties.

The Israeli settlers, under the protection of the occupation forces, launch daily attacks on Palestinian cities and towns and commit crimes against the Palestinians in order to displace them and seize and Judaize their lands.
