Occupation Navy targets Palestinian fishermen in the southern Gaza Strip

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Three Palestinian fishermen were killed on Sunday when the Israeli occupation navy shelled their boat in the sea south of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Ma’an News Agency reported that the occupation navy targeted the three fishermen’s boat, off Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip with a missile, which led to their death.

Israeli occupation forces deliberately attack Palestinian fishermen to prevent them from fishing which is their only source of income in light of the continued siege being imposed on the Strip.

This morning, the occupation forces targeted Palestinian farmers in the south of the besieged Gaza Strip and fishermen in the sea in the north of it.

Wafa News Agency reported that the occupation forces shot Palestinian farmers in Khan Yunis, in the south of the Strip, while the occupation navy targeted Palestinian fishermen’s boats in the sea off Sudaniya in the north.

The occupation forces attack the Palestinian farmlands in the besieged Gaza Strip on a daily basis in order to prevent the farmers from cultivating their lands in light of the unjust siege imposed on them for years. They also deliberately target fishermen at sea, pursue them and seize their boats to prevent them from practicing the profession of fishing, which is their only source of livelihood in light of the unjust blockade imposed on the Strip.
