Occupation navy attacks the fishermen in the sea of Gaza

Occupied Al- Quds, (ST) – On Wednesday, the Israeli occupation navy renewed its attacks against Palestinian fishermen in the sea of the besieged Gaza Strip.

Palestinian media reported that the occupation navy opened heavy machine-gun fire on fishermen’s boats off the Al-Sudaniyya area in the northern Gaza Strip, forcing them to return to the shore.

A few days ago, the occupation authorities prevented fishermen in the Gaza Strip from marketing their fishes in the West Bank.

The West Bank is considered the most important market for selling fish in light of the sector’s suffering from weak purchasing power caused by the unjust siege imposed on it for more than 16 years, which led to hundreds of them stopping their fishing the work.
