Israeli occupation forces suppress a protest in Hebron

Today, the Israeli occupation forces suppressed a sit-in in the city of Hebron in the West Bank to protest against the intention of the head of the Israeli occupation entity, Isaac Herzog, and groups of settlers to storm the Ibrahimi Mosque this evening.

Wafa Agency reported that the occupation forces assaulted the Palestinians participating in the protest called by the Ministry of Endowments and the Palestinian National Forces at the gates of al- Ibrahimi Mosque, and arrested a number of them.

The participants raised the Palestinian flag and chanted slogans denouncing the occupation and its Judaization plans.

The occupation forces intensified their presence in the Old City of Hebron, deploying a large number of checkpoints, imposing severe restrictions on the movement of Palestinians and preventing them from heading to the mosque.
