Israeli occupation forces suppress a demonstration south of Nablus

Occupied Al-Quds, (ST) – Dozens of Palestinians were injured this morning as the Israeli occupation forces suppressed an anti-settlement demonstration in the town of Beita, south of Nablus in the West Bank.

Ma’an News Agency reported that the occupation forces fired a barrage of bullets and poison gas canisters at the participants in the demonstration that took place near Jabal Sabih. The demonstration was in refusal to establish a settlement outpost on its summit, which led to the injury of more than 51 Palestinians, injuries and cases of suffocation.

Six Palestinians were martyred and hundreds were injured as a result of the occupation forces’ assault on the daily demonstrations in the town since last May, in refusal to establish a settlement outpost on the summit of Jabal Subaih, which is in the middle of the towns of Beita, Qabalan, and Yatma, south of Nablus.

Israeli settlers storm the village of Jalud, south of Nablus

Meanwhile, the Israeli settlers stormed the village of Jalud, south of the city of Nablus in the West Bank, and sabotaged the electricity network.

Ma’an News Agency stated that settlers stormed the village and cut off the main electricity poles in the network that feeds the western side of the village.

Last month, settlers destroyed the electricity network that feeds the east of the village, which is subjected to daily incursions by the occupation forces and settlers to harass its people, displace them and Judaize it.
